Aaron Burmeister in Unalakleet for the Wells Fargo Gold Coast Award

Aaron made his way to Unalakleet in blustery 30-35 mile an hour winds. It is sure getting windier out there by the hour. Still sunny out. The weather is supposed to warm up from minus 30 to plus 30 by tomorrow; that is where this wind is coming from.

Aaron arrives to a huge cheering crowd. Many people here know him from his home town in Nome. Many Nomeites are down here. He is pocketing $ 3500 in gold nuggets for this exceptionally tough 11 hour run.
