Twenty-Two seconds separated the Mackey brothers as they arrived in Nome this morning. Their race was far from what they expected when they departed Fairbanks.
Shortly after 13:00 the first musher, Laura Allaway of the Women’s quartet reached the burled arch in Nome. Laura was followed closely by Monica Zappa.
