Musher Details
Biography
Mike is a musher for Jim Lanier’s Northern Whites Kennel. He was born in Alaska but moved away as a small child. He always dreamed of returning and connecting to the land he is from by doing the most Alaskan thing he could think of: run the Iditarod! After returning to Alaska following college, Mike has trained dogs all over Alaska, including the YK-Delta, Fairbanks and now in Chugiak. Mike shares his passion for sled dogs and Alaska with his wife Julieann, and kids Minka, Ty, Zoey and Merrick.
