I grew up in Alaska spending time out in the Bush with my dad on the Yukon River, logging, trapping, setting nets and hunting. I first got inspired by hearing my dad’s stories of trapping with dogs, running the Iditarod and traveling with dogs. So when I was 17 years old I bought my first dog, Annie. She cost me $600 and two cords of firewood. Since then I’ve had a ton of adventures with dogs and spent way more money than a handful of cash and some driftwood.
