Musher Details

As an Anishinabe musher, Jesse Terry has always felt that his connection with the natural world is a part of who he is. He grew up with a paddle in his hands and got into mushing at 11 years old when his family started to get sled dogs. Since then he has been very fortunate to live a life full of adventure, proving that he continues to be a lucky child. Running the Iditarod has been a dream for many years and the excitement around it. Now that he finally feels ready to race, it is too good not to share.

Together with his wife Mary England, they operate On The Land Sled Dogs.
