Musher grams are one of the “Iditarod traditions” that race fans love!  Over the years, thousands of messages have been sent to checkpoints to cheer on mushers or wish them good trail.

Our volunteers are standing by in our call center 24 hours a day to answer your  phone calls and write down your messages. 

Musher grams are sent from the call center to the trail by plane. When the messages arrive at a checkpoint, our volunteers deliver them to mushers.

Although we can’t guarantee every musher gram is delivered, our volunteers do their very best to get the special messages from race fans to the mushers!
