The 24th musher to reach Nome was Michelle Phillips. She crossed the line with 13 dogs just before 5:30 Wednesday night.
Mike Williams, Jr. pulled into Nome just before 5 o’clock Wednesday. The veteran had 10 dogs and enjoyed a nice break from the wind from White Mountain on.
Last year’s rookie of the year, Brent Sass, was the 22nd musher to reach Nome. He finished this year’s race with 8 dogs.
John Baker crossed the finish line Wednesday morning in 21st place. The former champion says this year’s team might be his best.
After a bold new strategy failed to pay off, Martin Buser crossed the finish line in 17th place.
Cim Smyth and Paul Gebhardt crossed the finish line less than 1 minute apart. Cim finishes in 15th place and Gebhardt in 16th.
Jessie Royer takes 18th place with 7 dogs, as she crosses the finish line in Nome.
Lance Mackey takes 19th place, and right on his tail, Ramey Smyth in 20th.
DeeDee reaches Nome in 10th Place with 10 dogs.

Ray Redington Jr Arrives 5th Place in Nome. Ray races into Nome at 2:04AM on March 13, with a team of 9 dogs, and a time of 9 days, 11 hours, 4 minutes and 54 seconds.
Last years Iditarod Winner Dallas Seavey sails into Nome and takes 4rth place. Dallas crossed the finish line March 13, at 1:20AM with his dog team of 7, finishing this years race in 9 days, 10 hours, 20 minutes and 51 seconds.
Aliy Zirkle takes a solid second place in Iditarod 41! Aliy and her team of 10 dogs finish at 10:39PM with a time of 9 days, 8 hours, 3 minutes and 35 seconds.
