He’s ready to go!! He’s worked for Dallas Seavey for a few years now and Isaac Teaford will be taking Dallas’ team if 2 year olds to Nome. And don’t be surprised is that trumpet goes with him! 

He’s geared up for another run to Nome. Matt Hall has been on the list of “Team to Watch” for a few years now. Maybe this is his year!

He made quite a splash in 2023 and now Hunter Keefe is back for another run to Nome.  He is working out of the Redington Kennel and understands the responsibility and appreciation that comes with that.

Travis Beals and his wife Sarah have begun a new chapter in life.  Their family has grown with the addition of baby Elias and now Travis returns to the race with extra motivation.

Jessica Klejka took a few years off and she is back for her 3rd Iditarod.  And she has help from Lucy and her husband Sam.

He’s back for one more!  Maybe :).  Either way we are thrilled that long time veteran Aaron Burmeister will make another run to Nome, we caught up to him at his home in Nenana to discuss his come back.

He’s quite quickly becoming one of the old timers in the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. Jeff Deeter still dreams of winning and man does he have a set up at his kennel near Fairbanks!

He was instrumental in the Iditarod becoming what it is today. Howard Farley was the brains and the organizer of the early Iditarod’s from the Nome end. With his passing of late we take a look back at the story that is Howard Farley in his words. 

2023 Iditarod Champion Ryan Redington has spent most of his winter in Alaska because of the lack of snow down south.  It gave us the opportunity to catch up with him to chat about winning, training and the defense of his title.
