A ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the  Redington Mural, a 72-foot-long canvas with 220 photos, was held on Sunday, April 25, (2016) at the Joe Redington Sr. High School.

The work not only showcases the life of Joe Redington Sr. but also the history of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race with checkpoints and standout mushers. Created by Photographer Kevin Smith.
