Iditarod Insider 2.0 offers a glimpse into the lives of Iditarod sled dogs and the people who engage with them every day of their lives.
They are lives full of energy, activity, and wellness. We visit with those that spend their summers on the glaciers, to others that spend their days near their wilds of Denali, and all stops in between. Insider 2.0 sets out to take you inside their lives, far from the trail and a look at a life of joy, camaraderie, and a level commitment that has few rivals.

Rick Casillo is a veteran of the Iditarod Sleddog Race. He and his team use their influence to help veterans of war that are suffering from PTSD. It’s a non profit group called the Battle Dawgs and his race team is at the core of this team.

For Kristy and Anna sleddogs are a lifestyle. Everything that they do is in support of happy and healthy dogs. Their exuberance is contagious.
Fabio is well known in the mushing circles. But the 2020 Iditarod will be his first attempt at taking a dog team to Nome. Take a listen you’ll see that he’s got a great chance at making it.
