Dallas has a very distinct advantage on this run. He has a personal trail breaker ahead of him. that personal trail breaker was Aaron Burmeister. While Dallas had a clear, defined track ahead of him, Aaron had nothing. Just a continuous windblown surface.
While we were snow machining along I started to see Mr. Seavey in the far distance, till a seal breathing hole caught my attention. I could not resist stopping. And sure enough, a big seal mama tried to come out of the ice. She is so highly pregnant, that she had a hard time to come up.
Finally she made it up and checked out her surprise visitors. The video guys caught up, too. They might have a good clip of her chasing me back to my snow machine…
