Biography
My journey began with a passion for sled dogs and the birth of the mullet. After completing my Iditarod qualifiers in 2022, I packed up the kennel and headed to Alaska, planning to stay just a year to run the 2023 Iditarod. Little did I know how much I would fall in love with the small town of Nenana, the endless trails, and the incredible mushing community. What started as a temporary adventure quickly became a two-year journey, and now I proudly call Alaska my home.
With many of my prior teammates aging out I wanted to be sure that this Iditarod team would have what it takes to make a competitive run in the 2025 Iditarod. So we kept our heads down, focused on training and when it was time, went on those decision-making runs. The team didn’t disappoint. Their fire and energy is undeniable and I would’ve been a fool not to give them the chance to prove themselves once again.
So, here we are right up against the deadline and ready to throw everything we have at this season as I continue to chase the dream of reaching the winner’s circle. With the support of family, friends and mentors behind me and a fantastic team of dogs and a bright future ahead of me anything is possible.
