Entries for 2026 are being accepted starting June 28, 2025. Deadline for entry in the 2026 Iditarod is November 28, 2025, 11:59 pm AKDT for the pricing below. Starting November 29, 2025, entry prices increase to $8,000.
Fees are as follows, based on dates:
- $2k from opening day through December 2, 2025, 11:59 pm AKDT.
- Past champions pay $1,950
- $8k after November 28, 2025
The first-ever Iditarod Expedition Musher, Kjell Inge Røkke from Norway, is generously contributing $2,000 to each musher’s entry fee before November 28, 2025, 11:59 pm AKDT.
