The veteran musher had to overcome quite a bit this year including a broken sled.
The 4-time champion and his team of 13 dogs arrived in Nome Thursday morning with lots of speed and lots of wagging tails.
For the 21st time the veteran musher has reached the finish line of Iditarod. This year he finished in 12th position.
The veteran reached Nome with 9 dogs in 11th position. That’s his second highest finishing position in the Iditarod.
The veteran and Nome native is the 10th team to reach the finish line.
The 3-time champion finished in the top ten once again. The veteran reached the Burled Arch with 7 dogs on his line.
The veteran finished in the top ten again crossing the finish line with 9 dogs.
