Contender Nic Petit is off of his 24 hour rest in Nikolai with 12 healthy happy dogs.  He spent a few minutes grabbing supplies in McGrath before heading back out on the trail.

Rookie musher Jed Stephensen had to either hold on and go head on into a bush, or let go.  A little bump in the road didn’t slow down his dream of finishing his first Iditarod.  We caught up with Jed on his 24 hour rest in McGrath.
