He’s living a dream!  Travis Beals grew up knowing that his life was going to be lived with dogs.  His kennel and his potential are growing in unison in Seward Alaska where he operates a tour business and builds his Iditarod Team.  Welcome to Turning Heads Kennel.

Quito was one of the greatest lead dogs in the races history.  And for Aliy Zirkle the pain was real when we talked to her at home about her prized Quito.  You’re outside of Fairbanks, Alaska.

Iditarod Champ Pete Kaiser proved that you can live off the road system in Alaska and still win the race!  We traveled to Bethel to catch up with the humble Kaiser and met his team on their turf.

Not many have finished more Iditarod’s than Dr. Robert Bundtzen.  We caught up to him near his home in Anchorage to see whats in store for 2020.

What an opportunity!  Tim Pappas has finished the Iditarod before but for 2020 Martin Buser has given him the keys to the “A” team.  The 4-time Champion has taught many finishers the ropes of being a good dog driver and he thinks Tim is ready for this challenge.

Travis Beals is one of the young stars of the Iditarod.  What a summer he’s had!  We catch up with him on a glacier outside of the town of Seward, Alaska and we go sky high to find out how he and his team spends the summer.

Pete Kaiser won his first Iditarod Title in 2019.  We traveled to his home in Bethel and spent the afternoon doing one of his favorite things, catching fish!

Joar has been one of the most consistent mushers in the early years of his career and anyone ever.  And of course he credits his dogs, and he’s got a kennel full of great ones!  And man do they look like they are having fun.
