Dallas Seavey’s team, fresh off of a short rest, heads down the Iditarod trail on their way to Nulato

The defending Champions parks his team in the Galena Checkpoint to rest up before their next outing.

Paige Drobny parks her team in Checkpoint Galena in preperation for her run to Nulato.

Pete Kaiser, after arriving from the journey from Ruby, declares to take his 8-hour mandatory rest in the Galena checkpoint.

Jessie Holmes arrives in Galena and declares his rest after his trek from Ruby.

Dallas Seavey is the 3rd Musher into the Galena Checkpoint. He did not declare how long he would be resting for.

Matt Hall arrives in Galena, and declares that he will be taking his mandatory 8-hour rest. He will join Travis Beals, the current lead musher.

Travis Beals is the first to arrive in Gelana, just before 3:30pm on March 8th. Travis’ team is now resting before they continue down the Yukon.
