Veteran Mushers Nic Petit and Matt Failor came into Shageluk back to back, though Nic decided to go through, and Failor decided to take a rest in the checkpoint.

Jessie Holmes and Richie Diehl arrived into Shageluk within minutes of each other, but after a quick picture with fans, Holmes left for Anvik in search of a good meal while Richie stopped to rest at the checkpoint.

Brent Sass arrived into Shageluk first.  The 2022 Champion stopped in the checkpoint for a rest.  Will he do his mandatory 8 hour rest here?  More to come on the Insider when we interview him.
