Dallas Seavey has completed his final mandatory 8-hour rest and is on his way to Nome. Dallas’ 8-hour rest ended at 7:53am on March 12th.
Jessie Holmes arrived into White Mountain at 4:35am on March 12th, 1 hour and 34 minutes after Matt Hall. Jessie and his team will now take their mandatory 8-hour rest; they will be allowed to resume down the Iditarod trail at 12:35pm.
Matt Hall follows Dallas Seavey into the White Mountain Checkpoint. Matt arrived at the checkpoint at 3:01am, 2 hours and 8 minutes after Dallas. Matt Hall’s mandatory 8-hour rest will be over at 10:01am on March 12th.
With the team now fed and bedded down, Dallas Seavey talks with the Insiders about his runs to White Mountain and how his team has been performing.
Dallas Seavey is the first to arrive in White Mountain at 11:53pm on March 11th. Dallas must take his mandatory 8-Hour rest and can continue on the path to Nome at 7:53am on March 12th.
The Insider Crew has arrived in White Mountain awaiting the arrival of the Mushers. Currently, Dallas Seavey is expected to arrive around midnight on Tuesday, March 12th. We will be live at White Mountain as the Mushers come in and begin their mandatory 8-hour rests.
Hannah Trullaz is a second time trail crew member for the Iditarod. Working with the Iditarod has been a goal of Hannah’s for quite some time. This is her first time in Unalakleet.
