Matthew Failor stopped in McGrath for a few minutes to grab some supplies and get a greeting from his pregnant wife Liz before heading off to Takotna.

Though he didn’t stay in McGrath, Richie Diehl got a warm welcome from his nieces.

Jessie Holmes reached McGrath 2nd, where he had to return his leader from last year’s team.  He stayed for a few minutes before hitting the trail.
