Deke Naaktgeboren is preparing for his 4th Iditarod.  We spent some with him at his home near Fairbanks.

The Iditarod lost a legend in Paul Gebhardt this week. He was a fixture on the Iditarod Trail for many years.  He will be missed and his spirit will live on in the legacy of his great lead dogs like Governor.  This is an interview done with Paul in 2009.

She’s been a musher for 25 years and has bred and raised her entire kennel.  And in 2024 Gabe Dunham will give it another shot at reaching Nome.  Here is her story.
