After taking 3 years off from the Iditarod Dallas Seavey has come back and is ready to go after his 5th Championship. He has combined kennels with his father Mitch (who is taking the year off) and together they have a team that will contend for the title.
He’s a long time veteran and he’s a reservoir of knowledge! He is Linwood Fiedler and we caught up with him at his kennel in WIllow to talk sleddogs, Hank and why he’s like Garth Brooks!
Gabe Dunham got very close to the finish line in 2020 but she had to make the decision to delay her dream of reaching Nome to 2021. She is training hard in Willow and we caught up to her at Linwood Fiedlers’ kennel.

Wow Wow Wow! What a view for Paige and Cody and their sled dogs. Welcome to mile 50 something on the Denali Highway. It’s only open about 5 months out of the year but who cares! What a place to build a winner and what a place for these sled dogs to live.
Make no mistake about it, Jessie Holmes is all about his dogs. He has purchased property in an area that he calls the greatest place in the world to train dogs. He might be right.
He may live remotely but his dogs live a life of royalty. They have their own private lake and beach and yard you could play golf on. Whatta life for these guys near Eureka, Alaska. And he loves a Jeep but this one doesn’t come with tires and a collapsible roof.
Life has changed for many of us. But to a sleddog its life as usual and it’s up to the musher to keep their dogs inspired and feeling great. And oh yeah he’s got puppies too!
It’ll be her 3rd race and Ryne and her team is ready to go. We spent some time with her at her home outside of Fairbanks to see what he dogs do all summer!
