Hi Boys and Girls,

The Junior Iditarod started and ended this past weekend. I hope you read Sanka’s post about the Vet Check and the Start. It was an exciting weekend for these young people and their families. Congratulations to Kevin Harper, 17, who won the race in a time of 12 hours 59 minutes and 4 seconds. Kevin has run the race 3 times. He also placed 1st last year and 3rd place in 2014. In 2014 Kevin also won the Rookie of the Year, and the Sportsmanship awards. I wonder what the future holds for him? Do you think he’ll run the Iditarod? Maybe next year?
