The teams continue to the finish line in Nome.  Nathan Schroeder was the first rookie to finish.  Congratulations to him.  Abbe West another rookie finished just 6 minutes after Nathan.  What a great job these rookies did!

WEATHER:   The weather in Safety and Nome is 1 degrees and mostly cloudy. The weather in White Mountain is -5 degrees and it’s fair. The weather in Elim is 2 degrees with light snow, The weather in Koyuk is 0 degrees, The weather in Shaktoolik is  3 degrees and is lightly snowing, The weather in Unalakleet is -2 degrees, There is a severe weather warning for heavy snow with accumlations of 5-9 inches from Unalakleet to Elim.  The warning is for tonight through Friday.
