Your IditaRead “mushers” may be crossing the finish line soon. Here are the PDFs and jpeg for a black and white or a color finisher’s certificate for you to present to your finishers.
Additionally, we want to thank the over 1,200 teachers that signed up for the digital IditaRead program. The suggestion box is live and answered regularly, so please share what you would like to see for IditaRead v.4.0!
We would like to highlight all users in an upcoming article, so if you would like to share any pictures (permissions granted first) and ways you used this in your classroom, we would love to see and hear about it! Send your celebrations to: Jane Holmes.
Finally – your account is perpetual. You needn’t re-register nor do you need to stop using this platform just because the race is finished. Continue to use it for your students to set and reach goals for literacy improvement. Maybe you can use it for a summer reading program – or as an end of the year push for fluency skills. What about changing the goals for a second round to minutes or pages of reading and take the data from a parent signed reading log? In August, you can set it up right away for your new students. You know what your students’ needs are and can set it up for their best benefit.
