Students will be given the task to create an original meme, based on an Iditarod-themed photo, and make a connection to school. While it is certain that students will be humorous and exhibit creativity, this lesson also challenges them to think about mood, word choice, audience, craft and structure. Students will also have an opportunity share their work with one another! This is sure to be a fun lesson. Don’t be afraid to join in and make some of your own memes.
