Biography
Harmony Barron, 30, was born in California. She says, “When I was 12 years old, I put a horse halter on my German Shepherd’s body, and a light bulb went off in my head!” She began mushing in 2000.
She and Jason Barron were married under the burled arch in Nome following their completion of the 2002 Iditarod. Harmony and Jason both participate in mid and long distance races. The Barrons are sled dog ranchers and Harmony says she enjoys living life in the country.
