Dear Friends,

Have you ever wondered how a musher from the lower 48 or Canada gets the sled dogs all the way up to Alaska for the Iditarod?  One way to transport us dogs long distances is in a truck with little dog box compartments built in.  Each dog has a cozy spot with a view!  Fresh, warm straw is placed inside so we can curl up on a bed of comfort.  We dogs like our boxes and have our favorite spots. 

Mushers are very creative and build differently designed dog boxes for their trucks.  Here are some pictures of various types.  Which do you like best?

Some mushers have even designed trailers with dog beds inside.  Take a look!  We dogs rush to get the favorite bed in here.
