I told you it was going to be a busy day in Nome.  9 more teams have crossed the finish line today and a couple of more are really close to finishing.  There is a total of 16 teams out on the trail.  Stayed tuned as the travel to Nome.

WEATHER:   The weather in Safety and Nome is 9 degrees and lightly snowing. The weather in White Mountain is 11 degrees and light snowing. The weather in Elim is 21 degrees with light snow, The weather in Koyuk is 25 degrees. There is a severe weather warning for heavy snow with accumlations of 5-9 inches for Elim and Koyuk.  The warning is for tonight through Friday.
