Just a few more days before the start of the 2020 Iditarod. Mushers and teams are flooding into town to make last minute preparations. There is a lot of snow this year and my canine friends are ready to hit the trail. Dog teams have been arriving in trucks with dog beds attached. It sure is fun here at Iditarod Headquarters welcoming the teams.

There are 56 teams this year. Most are from the 49th state – Alaska, but many are from the lower 48 and abroad. Norway, Denmark, Italy and Canada are all represented this year.  Awoooooo! They are so excited to be here!

You need to use your math skills to figure out how many men compared to how many women mushers. How many from Alaska? From other states? International? All the information you need can be found on the musher list. Pick your favorite and cheer them on.
