Zoom Lens – Sprinter

Handler is in Alaska volunteering for the Iditarod. Of course we’re wondering what is happening as the mushers prepare to head down the trail. Handler has promised to send us a picture to capture the day that in turn, we can share with you. Of course this is all dependent on getting connected to the internet and that’s not always possible while on the trail. By following Zoom Lens, you can see a daily BEST picture.  Click on the image to make it larger.

Today’s picture was taken at the Aurora Dog Musher’s Track about half way between Wasilla and Willow. A sprint team was doing a training run. After a 3-mile loop, the team came galloping back into the staging area just as fast as it took off. This is the face of a very happy sprint dog running in wheel.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Zoom Lens photo of the day. Beauty is not in the guidebook and adventure isn’t on the map – seek and you will find. Enjoy!
