In Nome, the Teacher on the Trail has many opportunities to interact in the community and Jim Deprez was lucky enough to be interviewed by “Alaska’s Oldest Newspaper”, the Nome Nugget.  Jim spoke with Peter Leowi while he was in Nome, both of them greeting the finishing mushers.  Thank you Nome Nugget!. This edition is full of Iditarod articles and local news – a good way to learn about another place.
