Biography
Alex Buetow, 28, was born and raised in Fairbanks. He graduated from Montana State University in Environmental Studies. He began mushing in 2012. He’d been interested in running the Iditarod after growing up in a dog mushing family. Both his father and uncle have run the Iditarod. He is currently working with Jeff King as a handler.
