Hi Boys and Girls,

Good Evening. Nome remains a busy place and will get busier in the next few hours. Thirteen teams have finished. Five more teams have left Safety, and ten teams have left White Mountain. There are a bunch of mini races going on. Hans Gatt and Ralph Johannessen (15^th and 16^th) left Safety 5 minutes apart. Katerine Keith and John Baker (18^th and 19^th) left Safety at the same time. Currently in the Rookie of the Year Position is Sebastian Vergnaud who is in 22nd Place. He has left White Mountain. Robert Redington is in 23rd place and has also left White Mountain. They are 14 minutes apart. Looks like there will be a race for Rookie of the year!

Red Lantern Position

Rookie Paul Hansen in 66^th place. He is in Unalakleet with 5 other mushers- 3 of them are rookies Roger Lee in 62nd place, Peter Reuter in 64^th place, and Jimmy Lebling in 65^th place are also in Unalakleet. It looks like the Red Lantern Position is still up for grabs!
