Zoom Lens – Dog or Seal?

After all the teams had cleared the Skwentna checkpoint, ten dogs remained on the dropped dog line. Dogs take priority when clearing a checkpoint. The first planes dedicated to clearing the checkpoint transport dogs ahead of any people. It seems that the dogs really like to fly. The get lifted into the back of the plane and settle down for a nap during the flight. Once they land on Lake Hood behind the Millennium, the dropped dogs are turned over to the vets and volunteers manning the dropped dog station. Soon enough their handlers arrive providing a ride home.

Stay tuned for another telephoto story tomorrow. Seek adventure.
