Iditarod Education Department Winter Educators Conference

“50 Years of Adventure Learning”

At the Lakefront Hotel, Iditarod Race Headquarters

March 1 – 4, 2022 in Anchorage, Alaska

 Registration is open for the Iditarod Winter Educators Conference and we can’t wait to see you! Whether you have used the Iditarod in your teaching for many years or have just begun using it, you will leave this conference with more and new lessons and ideas across multiple academic areas and grade levels as well as first hand Iditarod race experience you can’t get anywhere else.

NEW!  Educators in Alaska are able to register for single days at a special rate. Please use your Alaska school district email when you register and/or include your school name.

Additional information:

–  In the registration form where it says “company”, please put your school name.

–   Attendees will be able to stay at the Lakefront Hotel for the volunteer room rate. You can make your reservations now!

Consider planning your visit to include the March 5, 2022 Saturday morning Ceremonial Start in downtown Anchorage. Stay even longer and attend the 50th Anniversary Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race re-start in Willow, AK, on March 6, 2022.
