Iditarod 2023 Winter Educators Conference
February 28 – March 3, 2023 in Anchorage, Alaska
Join us for 3 1/2 days of professional development like no other. Fill your sled with the gear you need to engage and motivate your students to success – Iditarod style! You will get ideas, lessons, and materials that complement your required curriculum and add extra excitement about learning into your classroom.

- 2 full days of sessions from Iditarod educators, mushers, authors, Iditarod staff, and our 2023 Teacher on the Trail™️
- Field Trip Day: A scenic chartered bus ride to Iditarod headquarters in Wasilla, AK to observe pre-race vet checks first hand and then to Big Lake and Martin Buser’s Happy Trails Kennels! Lunch is provided.
- Musher Banquet ticket
- Friday Iditarod “Behind the Scenes” speakers. Hear first-hand experiences and information from race officials, pilots, and Iditarod staff.
