What A Race!

Hello friends,

The 2025 Iditarod Sled Dog Race is turning into quite a race. Teams are typically quite stretched out, but this year they are traveling closer together. At this posting Jesse Holmes is looping back north toward Kaltag, with Paige Drobny and Matt Hall not far behind. Paige Drobny is one of 11 women who started the race this year. 11 of 33 total mushers means, well, I’m a dog – you figure out the math for percentage of women.

Have you been watching the Run Dogs Run videos? They are real tail waggers this year, particularly interesting is the one titled “Dust Blizzard”. Go figure, a dust blizzard on the Iditarod Trail. You can watch all the Run Dogs Run videos here.

Keep watching! Go dogs go!
