Before too many days go by, we should talk about winners.

The person who wins an Iditarod is called a champion.

The person who won the Iditarod last year is Dallas Seavey.

Dallas Seavey is the 2012 Iditarod Champion. When I think about that, I spin and spin and spin in a circle because it makes me so happy to know that he is the youngest person to ever win Iditarod. 

Dallas was only 25 years old when he won the Iditarod.

It makes me spin, spin, spin in circles when I learn about people who do cool things when they are so young!

Writing about Dallas has been so much fun that I’ve been spinning in circles more than I usually do.  All that spinning has made me just a little bit tired.   I think I’ll go and rest my head from all this thinking.  It’s time for a little nap!  While I am asleep, I know that I will dream about the next winner of the race!  Who do you think it will be?
