It’s hard to believe that summer camp is ending.  Thank you, Diane, Kim, and Sara, for everything you have done. It has been a memorable week! The collaboration and teamwork that has happened this week have been amazing.  We have not only worked together through many presentations and interactive projects but also have taken many field trips that have deepened our understanding of Alaska and its history and the Iditarod Race.

Brian Hickox 2019 Teacher on the Trail™, you have done an amazing job!  Your dedication and enthusiasm for the program are impressive.  I wish you the best and thank you for all you have done and will continue to do to bring the excitement of the Iditarod into the classroom!

As the 2020 Iditarod season continues, I look forward to sharing journals, lessons, and connecting with classrooms. Stay tuned for Tails from the Trail!
